Quality Network, Inc. (QNET) provides state-of-the-art testing equipment for he nondestructive testing (NDT) of structural materials used in industrial applications.  With more than 20 years of experience in NDT services, QNET provides innovative solutions for almost any inspection problem.

Our forte is in the development of special inspection techniques:  we supply the customized inspection equipment, installation documentation, detailed instructions for use, training courses for your staff, and of course can execute the manual and/or automated NDT inspections.  Our objective is to enhance the quality and safety of products and technical services through the improvement of quality-related services and the design and manufacturing of state-of-the-art NDT inspection equipment.  We advise our international clients on the selection of resources and equipment, and assist in organizing the internal and external transfer of knowledge and related technology.

QNET is globally represented by locally integrated partners in America, Germany, Russia, Romania, India, Brazil, and China, allowing the sharing of knowledge of international standards, local market information, and available technologies.  The foundation of our technical competence is the expertise of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft (FHG) in Germany, and specifically the Fraunhofer-Institute Nondestructive Testing (IZFP), which QNET makes available through joint projects and international partnerships.

QNET is the marketing and services cooperation partner of the Fraunhofer Institute for Nondestructive Testing IZFP in Saarbrücken and the Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems IKTS in Dresden, Germany.  Through applied research, IZFP develops complete NDT solutions to determine material properties, to detect and characterize material discontinuities, and to monitor quality control and operating safety in fabrication and production processes.

The QNET Difference

IZFP has achieved the characterization of material properties and the detection, classification, and description (location, orientation, dimension) of material imperfections using Ultrasonic, Eddy Current, X-ray, Electromagnetic, Thermal, and Optical methods.  All of the necessary equipment and sensors for these methods are designed and manufactured at IZFP.

Through Quality Network a wealth of IZFP's and IKTS's NDT technologies and expertise are available.
